Western astrology reads planet positions; saju (BaZi) is a calendar system: your birth year, month, day, and hour each map to a pair of characters, fixed by the East Asian almanac. There is nothing to “intuit” in the chart itself — two people born at the same time and place get the exact same chart, every time. The interpretation is where craft comes in, and we’re explicit about how we do that (next question).
Only in the writing. Every number and character — your pillars, element balance, favorable element, decade cycles — is computed by deterministic code (solar-term boundaries to the minute, your birthplace’s longitude and DST applied as true solar time). The AI is handed those facts and writes the prose around them. It is never allowed to change a number, and anything it writes that overclaims (“guaranteed”, medical promises) is automatically deleted before you see it.
The viral prompt is fun — but ChatGPT computes charts by guesswork. It routinely misses solar-term boundaries (which decide your year and month pillars) and can’t correct your birth hour for where on Earth you were born. Our engine does both, and it’s locked by automated tests. Wrong chart in, wrong reading out — the calculation is the whole foundation. Compare a full sample and judge the writing yourself.

Yes — three of your four pillars don’t need the hour. We’ll read everything the chart supports and simply leave the hour pillar out, instead of inventing it. If you ever find your birth time (birth certificates often have it), a fresh reading will go deeper.
