Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ioreum (the “Service”), a paid digital reading product operated by Ioreum. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

  • Ioreum produces a digital report based on your saju (Four Pillars of Destiny). The chart itself is calculated deterministically in code from the birth information you provide.
  • An AI then writes a plain-language interpretation of that chart. The numbers and chart are computed by the engine; the AI only adds the written interpretation.
  • A free preview is available before any purchase so you can assess the quality of the result.

2. Entertainment and reference only

The Service is provided for entertainment and reference purposes only. The reading does not predict the future and does not guarantee any outcome regarding your health, wealth, relationships, career, or any other matter. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other advice.

3. Accounts and sign-in

  • Some features require you to sign in. You may sign in using a supported third-party provider (for example, Google).
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and may not use another person’s information without authorization.

4. Credits and payment

  • The Service uses an in-app unit called credits (Korean: 오름). You purchase credits, and credits are spent to generate reports.
  • One report costs 1 credit. Prices shown in the app are fixed and verified on our servers at the time of purchase.
  • Payment is processed through a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details.

5. Digital content and delivery

Reports are digital content. Once you spend a credit, your report is generated and delivered to you immediately. Because the content is delivered instantly upon generation, please review the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Service, including by reverse engineering it, scraping or harvesting data, sending automated or excessive requests, or attempting to disrupt or circumvent its operation.
  • Reports are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. The Service and its content remain the property of Ioreum.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ioreum will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

The Service is operated from the Republic of Korea. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
