Free BaZi calculator online — your Four Pillars in a minute, no sign-up

You want your eight characters, correctly computed, without creating an account or handing over an email. That exists: ioreum’s calculator gives you the full free chart — pillars, Day Master, five-element balance and your 60-cycle day-pillar character — in about a minute. Here is exactly what you get and why the calculation is worth trusting.
What the free chart includes
Enter your birth date, time if you know it, and birthplace. The engine returns your four pillars in stems and branches (with plain-English glosses on every character — no Chinese literacy needed), your Day Master and its strength, your five-element balance, your day-pillar character out of the sixty, and lucky colors. No account, no email, nothing to cancel.
Why this calculator over the others
Free BaZi calculators are plentiful; careful ones are not. Three checks separate them. Does it honor solar-term boundaries to the minute — or does everyone born on a boundary day get a coin-flip month pillar? Does it state its convention for the 11 pm zi hour? And does it correct for true solar time at your birthplace — the astronomy that can shift an hour pillar for anyone born far from their time zone’s meridian?
ioreum’s engine does all three, deterministically, and the whole calculation layer is locked by automated golden tests — the same engine that powers the paid readings, not a lite version. The methodology, with a worked example, is public at ioreum.com/en/methodology.
The Korean angle: BaZi, read the saju way
The chart is classical BaZi — the same stems, branches and solar terms used across East Asia. The reading culture on top is Korean saju: warmer register, an emphasis on relationships and timing, and the 60 day-pillar characters (a Green Rat is not a Black Rat). If you have only ever seen Chinese-metaphysics BaZi tools, the arithmetic will match; the voice will not.
If you later want more than the free snapshot, a full AI-written reading is a one-time $1.99 — a useful contrast with in-person consultations, which commonly start near a hundred dollars in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. No subscription either way.
Frequently asked questions
Is the calculator really free?
Yes — the full chart snapshot costs nothing and needs no account. Only the long AI-written interpretation is paid ($1.99, one time).
I don’t know my birth time. Can I still use it?
Yes. The year, month and day pillars — including your Day Master — don’t need it. The hour pillar is honestly skipped rather than guessed.
Will it match my chart from other calculators?
If both tools do the boundaries properly, yes — pillars are calendar facts. Where results differ, check solar-term handling and true solar time first.
